Shree. Shivaji Education Society Amravati’s Science College Nagpur organized  Educational Biodiversity Event Featuring 3D Biodiversity Show for Students Under the guidance of Honorable Principal Prof. Shri. M.P.Dhore.

[Nagpur, 16/04/2024] – In an effort to raise awareness about the importance of biodiversity conservation,   the Zoology Department  of Shri Shivaji Education Society Amravati’s Science College, Nagpur organized an event highlighting the significance of biodiversity and its preservation. This event  included  an innovative 3D Biodiversity Show aimed at engaging and educating students on this critical environmental issue.

Biodiversity, the variety of life on Earth, is essential for maintaining healthy ecosystems and supporting human well-being. However, rapid habitat destruction, climate change, and other human activities have led to a significant loss of biodiversity worldwide. Recognizing the urgency of this issue, Science College Nagpur is taking proactive steps to educate its students  and inspire action for biodiversity conservation.

The centerpiece of the event is the 3D Biodiversity Show, a groundbreaking multimedia presentation that utilizes state-of-the-art technology to explore the wonders of biodiversity. Through stunning visuals and immersive storytelling, students had the opportunity to learn about the interconnectedness of species, ecosystems, and the importance of preserving biodiversity for future generations.

We are thrilled to understand  Biodiversity  in such a meaningful way,” said Ku. Yutika Zade and ku. Sajani Faddas, a student organiser involved in planning the event. On this particular occasion, the head of the zoology department,  Dr. A. D. Bobdey, was there along with Prof. Tiwari madam, who spoke, and Dr. Dhakhode and Prof. Pawar, who were guests of honor. Professor Ghonmode, Dr. Patil Bhagat  & Dr. Shilpa Katare were also present at this function. The program’s convener was Dr. Shital Deshmukh, who was helped by  Miss Khushbu Shekh, a faculty member.
